I do indeed run a discord server.

The thing is, it is not like most other Discord Servers. For starters it is application only. When you go to join the discord server you will have to fill out an application, then either myself, jinx, or our server manager will review the application, interview you to ask and clarify any questions we may have, then decided if we are going to approve you to join the community.

The next thing that you should be aware of, is that we are pretty heavy on the premium aspects of the server. There are ways to make it without being a premium member, though admittedly it is not easy. This server is meant to be a place where I can hang out with my friends, as well as the larger community, and do the work that I am known for, as well as on the projects that you will see on this blog and in my Github Org. We do datamining, we interact with friendly discord staff, and we also work with content creators on things like promoting our products and our research.

All of this costs us money, and that is where the premium aspect comes from. We do our best to take care of our staff and developers as well, which is why they say money makes the world go around.

You can add them to your account and disable Direct Messages and Friend Requests so that you are not at risk of being scammed by any bad actors that manage to worm their way into our community.
